The Place
During segregation, the Historic Hampton House offered Black travelers, artists, athletes, and movement leaders a place to gather, celebrate, organize, and belong. Saved through community preservation, the House remains a living testament to what Black communities built—and what future generations can inherit.
The Gathering
A gala-style fundraiser for intentional guests across investment, philanthropy, entrepreneurship, arts, corporate leadership, and community. Cocktails, dinner, music, and real connection—with museum-approved interpretation of the building's history. The celebration, not a string of speeches, is the heart of it.
